Tyler A. Masterson was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. During High School, he attended Pueblo Community College and obtained his associates degree in Business. After graduating from High School and Pueblo Community College, he transferred to the University of New Mexico, where he bowled collegiately and completed his Bachelor’s Degree, with an emphasis in Marketing, in two years. 

Tyler was a law clerk for National Indemnity Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, during his first year of law school. He began clerking at Koukol & Johnson in 2016 when he was a second-year law student. After graduating from Creighton University School of Law in 2018, he joined the firm as an associate attorney. Tyler is admitted to practice law in both Nebraska and Colorado in the following courts:

• Nebraska State Courts – All Levels
• Nebraska Federal Courts – District Court and Bankruptcy
• Colorado State Courts – All Levels
• Colorado Federal Courts – District Court and Bankruptcy

Tyler is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
Tyler enjoys practicing in the areas of civil litigation and business law, including business planning and formation, contracts, collections, and negotiations.

When he is not practicing law, he enjoys cooking, golfing, bowling, country swing dancing, and hiking with his dogs: Oakley and Reily.
